Student Corner
At the Haldia Institute of Pharmacy, we are committed to providing a safe and secure learning environment for all our students. We believe that every student has the right to pursue their education without fear of harassment or intimidation. As such, we have a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging, and we take strict measures to ensure that such behavior is not tolerated on our campus. Ragging is a form of bullying that is commonly found in educational institutions. It involves the harassment, intimidation, and humiliation of students, particularly those who are new to the institution. Ragging can have serious consequences for the victims, including emotional trauma, mental stress, and even physical harm. To prevent ragging from occurring on our campus, we have established an Anti-Ragging Committee that comprises faculty members, staff, and student representatives. The committee is responsible for ensuring that all students are aware of our zero-tolerance policy towards ragging and for taking immediate action against any instances of ragging that are reported. We also conduct regular awareness campaigns and workshops to educate students on the dangers of ragging and to promote a culture of respect and tolerance on our campus. We encourage all students to report any incidents of ragging to the Anti-Ragging Committee or to any faculty member or staff member they feel comfortable speaking to. We take all reports of ragging seriously and investigate each incident thoroughly. Those found guilty of ragging are subjected to strict disciplinary action, which may include suspension or expulsion from the institution, depending on the severity of the offense. At the Haldia Institute of Pharmacy, we are committed to providing a safe and welcoming learning environment for all our students. We believe that every student has the right to learn and grow without fear of harassment or intimidation, and we take all measures necessary to ensure that our campus is a safe and secure place to study.
